The Pace University community and a Westchester family are mourning the sudden loss of a young student-athlete remembered for her kindness, energy, and bright spirit.
Stevie Marie DeLuca, a Yonkers native and junior at Pace University, died on Thursday, April 30, at the age of 20, according to her obituary.
DeLuca was a member of Pace’s cheerleading team, where she served as a flyer. A graduate of Riverdale Kingsbridge Academy, she was majoring in criminal justice in the university’s Dyson School of Arts and Sciences.

Muldoon, 57, died suddenly at his Beverly Hills, California, home on Sunday, April 19. Dan Eggen, a Pulitzer-prizewinning reporter and longtime Washington Post editor, was found dead at 60 years, the outlet reports.
Eggen was laid off earlier this year in a round of mass cuts. His ex-wife, Stephanie Armour, confirmed Eggen's death to the Washington Post. No foul play is suspected and a formal cause is pending an autopsy.
