The most popular artists, songs, and podcasts of the music streaming era have been defined.
Spotify released its all-time most-streamed lists on Wednesday, April 23. The rankings were unveiled exactly 20 years after the platform was founded, although it didn't publicly launch until October 2008.
Taylor Swift was named the most-streamed artist of all time, thanks to a catalog that spans two decades, a dozen original albums, and several genres. The West Reading, Pennsylvania, native also had two of her albums crack Spotify's top 20: "Lover" from 2019 and "Midnights" from 2022.
