Early-stage entrepreneurs will compete for seed funding when SUNY Westchester Community College hosts its second annual LevelUp! Pitch Challenge in Valhalla this fall.
The competition will be held Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026, and is open to newly established businesses that have been operating for six months to two years, according to SUNY Westchester Community College.
Three prizes will be awarded: $6,000 for first place, $4,000 for second place, and $2,000 for third place.

Saratoga Hospital Family Medicine Residency Celebrates Class of 2026 Graduates
Saratoga Hospital is celebrating the first graduating class from its Family Medicine Residency Program, with six physicians completing the program.
The inaugural Class of 2026 includes Alina Bazarian, MD, who served as chief resident for 2025–2026; Awais Chaudary, MD; Anna Kaoutskaia, MD, also a 2025–2026 chief resident; Elena Mejery, MD; Carolyn Miller, DO; and Zeynep Ovacik, MD.
According to Saratoga Hospital, the program was created through a collaboration among Saratoga Hospital, Albany Medical Center, and Hudson Headwaters Health Network.
