A Spring Valley man has been arrested after a body was found beneath a pickup truck in a Ramapo parking lot, police said.
Officers responded at approximately 7:15 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, to a report of a deceased person at 18 Park Ave., in the South Spring Valley section of Ramapo, according to a release from the Ramapo Police Department.

The crash happened just before 2:45 p.m. in Beacon on Matteawan Road near Deer Run, where officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle wreck involving a motorcycle, Beacon Police said.
When emergency crews arrived, they found the driver, a 33-year-old man from Gardiner, dead at the scene.

A 44-year-old Raritan woman was killed and another driver was critically injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Route 202 in Branchburg, Friday afternoon, Oct. 10, authorities said.
Sara Elsman, 44, of Raritan, was driving north on Route 202 when her vehicle, a Honda CR-V, suddenly turned left into the grass median for unknown reasons around 2:10 p.m., Branchburg Police Chief Richard Buck said.
The Honda first struck the Acura TSX, then hit a Honda Civic, causing the CR-V to overturn and trap Elsman beneath it at Holland Brook and Whiton roads, Buck said.

A 56-year-old Connecticut man was killed in a crash on I-91 in New Haven County, authorities said.
William Risley, of Watertown, died on Monday, Nov. 11, after he crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer truck on the interstate around 2 p.m., Connecticut State Police said.
According to the police report, Risley and the other vehicle were both in the center lane and had just passed exit 15 in Wallingford when the crash happened.
