A Maryland man is facing federal charges after switching from a pickup truck to an ambulance in leading a pursuit and crashing multiple times along I-395 in Arlington, authorities said. Trouble began for Darell T. Caldwell, 30, of Brandywine, MD, around 3:40 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12, when Virginia State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in the eastbound lanes of I-66 near the 74 mile marker, State Police said. UPDATE: Jake Love was arrested on May 24 in Manassas. ORIGINAL: A 29-year-old man is being sought in a Prince William County bank robbery, authorities said. Jake Love is believed to have demanded money from the teller at the Bank of America on Donegan Drive in Manassas around 3:30 p.m. Monday, May 22, county police said. Love fled on foot and was not located, despite search efforts that involved a police K-9 and Fairfax County police helicopter, authorities said. Ejected Motorcyclist Run Over, Killed By Cars On I-66 In Fiery Crash
A 29-year-old Virginia motorcyclist was killed in a fiery I-66 crash in which he was ejected from the bike and run over by two cars, authorities said. Jeffrey R. Armstrong, of Sterling, was head east on a 2006 Suzuki GSX-R 600 when he rear-ended a Honda Odyssey around 11:25 p.m. Friday, April 21, Virginia State Police said. The crash happened near the 50 mile marker where Armstrong, who was wearing a helmet, was ejected and thrown into the travel lane, authorities said. Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing On Virginia Highway (

A small plane made an emergency landing on a Virginia highway after an engine failure, according to reports. In Warren County, a pilot was forced to land on I-66 in Front Royal at approximately 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17 for a reportedly failed engine. No injuries were reported.
