1 Hospitalized After 2-Car Crash On Route 9 In Garrison One person was taken to a hospital following a two-vehicle crash on Route 9 in Putnam County, fire officials said.  According to the Garrison Volunteer Fire Department, crews were dispatched around 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 20, to a reported crash with injuries near Deer Ridge Road in Garrison. When firefighters arrived, they found two vehicles involved in a collision. Firefighters said the occupants of both vehicles had already exited their cars before first responders arrived.
