A Long Island man will spend at least a decade behind bars after he was found guilty of distributing crack-cocaine following a two-week trial. Baldwin resident Rafael Antonio Fabian, 43, was found guilty for conspiring to distribute and possess with intent to distribute narcotics, specifically crack cocaine in Brooklyn, U.S. Attorney Richard Donoghue said. When he is sentenced, he faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison. Norwalk Doctor Sentenced For Health Care Fraud, Drug Distribution
A local doctor is going to spend several years behind bars for distributing opioids to patients with no need for drugs in Fairfield County. Milford resident Bharat Patel, a doctor working out of Family Health Urgent Care in Norwalk, has been sentenced to 54 months in prison after pleading guilty to narcotics distribution and healthcare offenses over the summer.
