A 29-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a Camden County crash Saturday evening, Dec. 6, authorities confirmed.
Kody L. Reilly, of Stratford, was heading from Route 130 onto I-76 when he lost control, ran off the roadway, and struck a guardrail and then a telelphone pole around 7:30 p.m. at Exit 1D in Gloucester City, New Jersey State Police Trooper II Christopher Postorino said.
Reilly died as a result of the crash, which remains under investigation.

Woman Killed After Vehicle Veers Off Road, Strikes Tree In Rocky Point: Police
A woman was killed in a violent single-vehicle crash on Long Island, police announced on Wednesday, Dec. 3.
Ruth Ellerd, 66, of Ridge, was driving a 2017 Honda HRV southbound on Rocky Point Yaphank Road, about a half-mile north of Whiskey Road in Rocky Point, when her vehicle suddenly left the roadway and hit a tree on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at approximately 8:50 p.m., detectives said.
She was transported by Rocky Point Rescue to Stony Brook University Hospital where she was pronounced dead, according to the release.

Head-On Crash On Maryland Route 291 Kills 85-Year-Old Man, Injures Two: State Police
An 85-year-old man was killed when his car crossed the center line and slammed head-on into two pickup trucks on a rural Kent County road, according to Maryland State Police.
Troopers said Charles Ekstrom, 85, of Suddlersville, was driving a Toyota Camry on Maryland Route 291 when he drifted over the double-yellow line and hit two trucks around 3:45 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, near Maiden Lot Farm Lane.
Ekstrom was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
