Eleven people have been arrested as part of an international high-end vehicle theft ring that stole millions in cars in New Jersey and shipped them to West Africa, authorities announced on Friday, April 25.
Investigators determined 43 New Jersey vehicles, including Land Rovers, Mercedes Benzes and BMWs, valued at $3.65 million were stolen and then stored in two parking garages in The Bronx, Attorney General Matthew Platkin said. Click here for a complete list of defendants and charges.

A 30-year-old West Creek man was arrested and charged on Saturday, April 19, after he was caught stealing from a McDonald's donation bin in Englishtown, police said.
That morning, officers responded to the McDonald's at 78 Route 9 after a man, later identified as Evan Pinney, was trying to steal money from the donation bin, Marlboro police said.

Dashboard Failure Could Hide Speed Or Warning Lights, Prompting Recall Of 44K+ Audis
Audi is recalling nearly 45,000 vehicles because a dashboard glitch could prevent drivers from seeing their speed or critical warning lights, officials said.
The recall affects about 44,387 Audi vehicles from model year 2021, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Recalled models include the A6, A7, A8, Q7, Q8, RS6 Avant, RS7, RSQ8, S6, S7, S8, SQ7, and SQ8.
A software error can cause the instrument panel display to fail, the NHTSA said. Drivers might lose access to vital information like their speedometer or warning lights – increasing the risk of a crash.
