Nicholas Shapiro was arrested on Friday, May 29 after stealing the phone from a store in Lakewood, Lakewood police said. He was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant with assistance from the Tinton Falls Police Department, police said. During the intake process at the Ocean County Jail, corrections officers recovered a quantity of suspected cocaine from Shapiro's possession, police said.
